Welcome to our website!
The Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.), as the name implies, is a fraternal organization of law enforcement officers. The Greenville, SC lodge is comprised of over 200 members. Our members come from various law enforcement agencies through out Greenville, and some surrounding counties. We have members from the local cities, county, state, universities and federal agencies.

Improvements in compensation, some working conditions, benefits, and staffing, are certainly necessary. We choose to approach these concerns through monitoring and legally influencing legislation, as well as informing the public about our concerns and needs. After all, our concerns and needs are yours!

We do, act as a support mechanism for our communities. We donate to help support community activities on a year round basis, as well as donating funds to several local assistance organizations during the holiday season.

We are also here to help members and their families in their times of need, whether it be helping a member move, a member with medical problems, or the spouse and family of a deceased member. We also provide assistance to members by helping them attend continuing education (law enforcement) programs that their employing agencies cannot afford to or will not send them to.

The Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 318,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.
